Welcome to another (and the first) major release of WordPress in 2024!

Seriously though, this “major” WordPress release contains loads of updates and additions.

Probably one of the bigger additions is the new Font Library. Other major updates include list view improvements (rename those blocks) and tons of new great-looking templates and patterns and some new Data Views that are moving us closer to a more unified look between the site editor and the post and page editor.

There have been some additions to images, like the much-improved drag-and-drop feature, and when you do this with images you can auto-create a gallery in your editor window.
